Alastair from The Langton Brewery presents the winner of the “Name the Beer” competition with the specially brewed beer for the Food & Drink festival held at Leicester’s historic market on Sunday May 30th 2010. Megan Murray suggested the name “MALT & 2 VEG” for the beer which was specially created for the event and was selected from many entries. To celebrate the World Cup we have created WELLAND GLORY. At 4.0%abv it should go down well and keep you cheering the lads on. Our beautiful copper coloured ale with a hoppy finish will definitely give you a boost if things aren’t going too well on the pitch. Call us if you would like a cask to enjoy at home.

New seasonal Ale

We now have a new beer for you to try.  It is called Welland Poacher and is 5% ABV.  A chestnut coloured premium  beer with well balanced flavours of fruit and malt.
